Hacking the Sharing Economy with Ryan Gill

Size Does Not Equal Success

There’s an illusion that we’re not successful unless we’re big. I believed it for many years, and for me it was detrimental. Don’t ever compare yourself to large agencies. In fact, new growth within the Sharing Economy comes from downsizing. As you shed soul-sucking clients and mediocre employees, you make room for better, more profitable work that’s in line with what you actually want to spend your efforts on.

Increasingly, large agencies are being deselected because they’re too big (aka bloated, expensive and inefficient).

Small is beautiful.
